Privacy Policy for InnerDrive
Last updated: March 2025
InnerDrive ("we," "our," or "the app") is a personal development companion app. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Data we collect and why
Account and sign-in
We collect email and account identifiers when you sign in (e.g. Google Sign-In) to create and manage your account and sync your data across devices. We do not sell your account data.
Subscription (RevenueCat)
Purchase and subscription status is processed by RevenueCat so we can provide premium features and restore purchases. RevenueCat’s privacy policy applies to that processing: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
App usage and stability (Firebase)
Crash reports and basic usage data (e.g. app performance) may be sent to Firebase (Google) to fix bugs and improve the app. This can include device type and app version.
Permissions and data on your device
We use the following only when you enable the feature or grant permission:
Camera – Features that use the camera (e.g. scanning, photos) when you choose to use them. We do not continuously record or upload camera data.
Microphone – Voice input or speech-related features when you use them.
Calendar – Syncing tasks, events, or reminders with your calendar if you enable it.
Storage / photos – Saving or loading photos you choose (e.g. for journal or profile).
Location – Location-based features (e.g. weather, context) if you enable them.
Health / Health Connect – Steps, sleep, heart rate, and other health data you choose to connect (e.g. Samsung Health, Google Fit) to provide insights and tracking in the app.
Activity recognition / sensors – Pedometer and activity-related features when you use them.
Notifications – Sending reminders and in-app notifications you opt into.
We do not sell your health, location, or calendar data.
2. Third parties
We use services that may process data on our behalf:
Google (Firebase, Sign-In) – account, analytics, crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat – subscription and purchase handling. RevenueCat Privacy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Facebook – only if you use Facebook sign-in; subject to Facebook Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
These providers have their own privacy policies and may process data in accordance with their terms.
3. Data storage and security
Account and app data may be stored and processed using Google Firebase and related infrastructure. We use reasonable measures to protect your data; no system is completely secure.
4. Your choices and rights
Permissions: You can revoke camera, microphone, location, calendar, storage, or health permissions in your device settings. Some features may then stop working.
Account: You can delete your account or request deletion of your data by contacting us (see below).
Subscriptions: Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s store (Google Play) or via your account settings.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction). Contact us to exercise them.
5. Children
InnerDrive is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app or at this URL and change the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
